RAID Controllers & Graphics Cars for Vegas?

What RAID controller(s) (if any) are you using and with what HDDs?

I’m using the build-in ICH7-R controller on my Intel D975XBX2 Extreme Series motherboard with 2 x WD 500GB (1TB) WD5000ABYS SATA2 in a Raid 0 configuration.

What graphics card are you using?

ZOTAC ZT-98GES3G-FSL GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0

How many crashes are you experiencing per day?

Absolutely NONE for months and months now.

Well, upgrading MOBOs would be a major step, but not entirely out of the question. I will be talking with Sony tomorrow and see what they can do about getting my Vegas 9.0x to work. I have a 2314 RocketRAID card that is driving one external 6TB RAID-5 box. My graphics card is a GeForce 8800GT. People are pointing their fingers at the RAID or graphics cards being the cause of all my problems. So, if I get a good list of “working” components from Vegas users who’s software isn’t crashing…. maybe I can find the right combo to get mine running.
