  • RAID 0 Block Size for HD Video Editing

Setting up a RAID 0 on two identical Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB drives in a Mac Pro (early 2008 model). These drives will be dedicated video drives editing XDCAM EX files (startup disk is separate).

Wondering what RAID block size to use via Disk Utility? 64k, 128k, or 256k

Have read countless posts online with lots of people saying 128k for video editing, but no one mentions using 256k. I assume bigger the better for HD editing. Any help much appreciated. Thx
