Can you be more specific? Are you running the latest release and on what hardware?

True. working mostly with R3D sources, losing media (some clips suddenly becomes black on timeline) is VERY annoying. I need to restart Resolve 10-20 times a day… HORRIBLE. V8 was bulletproof compared to V9..

    Running 9.0.2 on 10.7.4, 12Core MacPro / 24GB RAM / GTX285 GUI / 2X GTX 570 / Redrocket

    Grading station: MacPro 12-core 2.4/24Gb RAM/Resolve control surface/RedRocket/GTX285/GTX570x2/DeckLink 3D+/Cubix/Penta PDP-32W Display

It’s been pretty darn solid for me, with a very similar config. Except I’m on 10.2.8….

Except I don’t have a red rocket. You have correct drivers for rocket and cuda?
Might want to clone your drive and try 10.8.2

Hi, I’m currently working on a 4K 3D movie shot on 2 RED EPIC 5K. I started the project on v8.2 so I choose not to upgrade to R9 to avoid problems. I have the same kind of problems you have but I’m in version 8.2!!!

I first thought of a 32bit problem but it looks like it’s something else… So far, I’ve never had a problem with v8.2 before this project.

    Did you find something?
