R3D -> Premiere Pro -> Resolve: LUT should I do?
Hi all,
I shot a project on the RED Scarlet and did a lot of tweaking to it using Premiere and Dynamic Link After Effects compositions. The only way I’ve found to get it into Resolve (especially considering the number of AE comps I would have to deal with) is to export it as a DPX sequence.
I’ve got the DPX sequence out using the Over Range preset in Premiere, and I’m trying to figure out what kind of gamma curve or LUT I should use, and where to set it (in the track settings, by right clicking the clip, or in the project settings?) Do I need a display LUT? I’d appreciate both a specific walk-through, or a link to one.
DPX output settings:
Rendered black point: 0
Rendered white point: 1
1-bit black point: 95
10-bit white point: 685
Gamma: 1.7
Highlight rolloff: 0
Logarithmic conversion is checked.Thanks!
