QuickTips: Event Keyword Templates/Scene Keywords
Here is a quick tip for making a “Keyword Template” to give you a jump start on organizing your media in FCP X. Created a sparse disk image with an event containing all your keywords, just the way you like them. Make sure the keywords are all nested in at least one folder deep. Like this:
Now when you start a new event, just double click your Keyword Template disk image and it will show in the Event Browser without needing to relaunch FCP X. Then drag your folder of Keywords to your fresh event and you are good to go. Keep these on your File Server so all your editors have easy access.
