I have been trying to take a high res Quicktime movie and zip it in Stuffit so I can email it to a client but it doesn’t seem to be compressing. It just keeps it at the same size as the original file (113 megs). Am I doing something wrong or can you not zip Quicktime files? Thanks.

You are not doing anything wrong, it is possible to ‘Zip’ or Stuffit (.sit) QuickTime movies but you will not reduce the size of the file, in some cases you’ll end up with a bigger file.

The only use of Zipping in this case would be to combine a number of Quicktime Movies into one .zip file for easy distribution and delivery.
