    Is there any problem having different versions of quicktime on one system? I’m like to try the new player but don’t want problems with fcp 3.x.

    OSX 10.2.3; Quicksilver Dual 1 gig; FCP 3.0.4; Sony camcorder vx2000; write professionally for a variety of media

    Final cut 3.0 requires Quicktime 6. Why do you want to change to a higher version? Never change a running system!
