    Hi

got some problem, I have a pc, vista 64 bit, very powerful..

I am exporting clips in quicktime ( no matter compression) and when I view them in quicktime player they are always out of sync, slightly??
When I try them in vlc or windows media player they are alright.

But I need for compression and such have them play at regular basis in quicktime too, anyone got an idea why this is. sound card updated and latest version of qt player..

    sincerely
    James

How are you creating these movies and which platform are you on? What are the source file formats?

I vista 64, and no matter if I use after effects or premiere the results are all the same, let’s say I have a video for 3 minutes, you see the changes a lot more in the end of the video.

I have done all kinds of different exports but whenever I export QT the sync issues occur. I have checked the frame rate, sound mhz, everything MANY times….

Try to stick with .WAV or other uncompressed audio for your source audio. If your source audio is in a compresed format then uncompress it and then import it into PremierePro or AE.

For export, MP3 seems like a save bet. Eons ago, setting audio interleave to 1 frame worked best on the PC but it’s never been an issue for quite a while.
