Quicktime trouble with Xpress Pro HD!
Hi!
I’ve recently installed Xpress Pro HD v5.1.6 (for Windows) on my computer.When I started it up the first time I recieved a warning that Quicktime was not installed on my computer and that some of the effects would not work without it.
So I downloaded Quictime 7 and installed it. But when I start up Avid now it only gets as far as the startup screen and to “initializing openGLeffects” before it shuts down completely.Anyone who knows what I can do to solve this?

My suggestion would be to re-install Xpress Pro now that you have QT installed. QT is required for all Avid products.

Xpress Pro is NOT QT7 compatible, install QT 6.5.xx

I downloaded QuickTime 6.5 and everything seems to work just fine now! 🙂ROTS rules!
