Quicktime Runs Slow on my PC
Why am I having such a hard time working with QTs on my PC?
I have a Dell Duo Core with 3GBs of RAM. I’m using AE CS4. The QTs I am using are 1920×1080 but the file size is less than 50 Mb. This is not a new problem. On all of the past PC systems that I’ve had QT has ran terrible. QT however runs excellent on my MAC. What’s the deal? Thanks in advance.

Well Quicktime is a proprietary multimedia framework developed by Apple – that’s probably why it works better on your Mac. Why don’t you try working with image sequences on your PC if the QT files aren’t working properly. Also, what version of QT do you have?
