quicktime reference export taking a long time
I have a version 6.0.4 which exports quicktime reference very quickly. I see a progress bar for writing the quicktime file, then the wav and its basically done in no time.
I also have a version 6.5 on another machine.
I have exactly the same export setting but on the version 6.5 it takes forever exporting the “writing quicktime file” part.
the progress bar moves thru then it starts again, and again.
does anyone know why this is?thanks in advance

On the 6.5 machine, is the Sequence rendered? Your description sounds to me like it might be rendering a lot of clips…

Yes, it is rendered.
I render in to out, then export.
I am using the default digital mastering setting in the avid quicktime reference export pane.
