I am trying to get a video off of a dvd and into a Quicktime file so that I can edit it in Final Cut Pro. I can get the file into an Mpeg 4 but final cut won’t read that. Will Quicktime pro convert Mpeg 4s to Quicktime files, and if not, does anyone know a program that will?

    Thanks,
    Elyssa

Use MPEG Streamclip to convert the DVD VOB files into whatever format you’re using in FCP.

    All the best,

    Tom
