  Quicktime Player Playback PAL

  HI there..

  I presumed that I could playback via quicktime pro as we just have the decklink card on a PC to encode and playback. No editing etc. However although it works there are several problems.. If I create a Qt with the decklik codec then it plays fine except the fields are in the wrong order. The file appears correct its the playback thats wrong. How do I force it to be correct. Also what affects the frame rate in playback thru QTpro. How could I tell the decklink anyway to change the field order?

  This seems like a simple task but just doesnt work.. are there any tricks?..

  Also sometimes in QT player it reports maybe 24FPS not 25.. so how can I force 25 … Whats stopping it play 25… The CPU isnt working at capacity and neither is the memory..

  Any hints! Its driving me mad!
