Quicktime Match Source Rewrap – ProRes PC
Hi,
When rendering UHD 4K – ProRes 422 (HQ) video from a Black Magic Production camera in Media Encoder CC 2015 (PC – Windows) using the Preset – Quicktime Match Source (Rewrap) the export video shows a format as – None.
Why does Quicktime Rewarp not keep the video format?

You can’t export (i.e. write) ProRes on a PC, you can only read the ProRes format. You can export out as DNxHD on a PC (similar codec, available from Avid). There are some non-supported software companies that have attempted to reverse-engineer ProRes and get it to work on a PC, but for Adobe ProRes exporting is a Mac-only option.
