I am looking at encouraging clients to bring me QTs of a project instead of the whole FCP project and media. As long as the QTs are the same res/ frame rate as the project should be ok. Any holes in this plan.

    thanks

If there are any other assets like graphics and music, you would also need those files. Being organized makes your day go a whole lot easier.

Yeah, all the assets they had for the entire project. Any Sequences they had already built.

If they make self contained movies of anything they’ve done, no clue if they will export them correctly. Always better to get all the raw materials.

Personally, I love it when a client brings an entire FCP project to me. I just move it all to my local drives, give it a new name, reorganize if necessary, and get to work.
