Quicktime for Final Cut 5
I just purchased a copy of Final Cut 5, and when i try to install it’s telling me that i need Quicktime 7 on the computer before i can install it. The only problem is that when i upgrade to quicktime 7 on my computer, it disables Pro functionality, and i have to pay another $30 for the upgrade to Quicktime 7 Pro. Is there any way around this? Does Final Cut 5 upgrade it to Pro automatically? Thanks.

FCP 5 unlocked QT Pro’s features here with QT 7.
But I paid the $30 anyway for the Pro features on several other computers. $30 is nothing compared to just about everything else I purchase here.
