  • quicktime export question

    I’m using Premiere Pro CS5.
A client is requiring me to export a quicktime movie with the following settings:
    Compression/Codec DVCPRO HD 720p60
    Frame rate 59.94 or 60
    Size 1280 x 720 HD

With Quicktime and the above codec selected, the size is preset at 960/720. Premiere Pro does not allow me to change the preset size. Does anyone know how to force it to allow one to do this?

    Hi Michael,

    960×720 is the correct resolution for DVCProHD 720P since it is anamorphic 1.33 PAR. (960 x 1.33 = 1280)

Don’t worry about it and export that way.

    Vince,
A very belated but sincere “Thanks” for your help! I must have missed your reply. Last fall I gave up and gave the client another format. Then went looking again 14 months later and found this via a google search- only to realize I was the person asking the original question! Thanks again.
