  • Quicktime: Disable “Save As” in Firefox

After placing a Quicktime video in an i-frame linked to an embed in another page, everything works great tested in Safari. The movie is playable but not directly save-able with the player (greyed-out choice to Save As)

But when I test the same site in Firefox 3, the player’s Save As Source or Save As Quicktime Movie is available for a user.

The embed and object code for the movie apply kioskmode as true.

I know anyone can copy the movie if they really want it, but the above effort is about the casual user.

Is there something I can do to make Firefox disallow that player option?

    Thanks…
