    hi everybody,

I’ve downloaded some quicktime videos from web and would like to convert them to MPEG files and create a DVD for my home DVD player (I don’t wan’t do watch these files on PC). When I try to convert them to MPEG (or any other format with ProCoder 2) I recieve this message “QT Reader: This movie does not allow saving”. Is there a possibility to somehow convert them to MPEG?

I don’t want to create any unauthorized copies or re-distribute these files. I just wan’t to watch them on my DVD player as a regular DVD disk.

    Thanks,
    Tomas

You may be able to get around this with an app like VirtualDub or Movie Maker that comes with Windows XP. The trick is finding an app that does not respect QT’s do not save function, but most “respectable” apps follow this.
