i mainly do affter effects graphics and use FCP mainly to import master renders (pal animations) so i can re-export them for use on the web – often to show client work in progress

I’m not having fun with the presets.. I export a sequence using quicktime conversion preset: “high speed broadband” with is good for stardard pal sequences – but it doesnt like wide screen: it keeps everything squashed same as pal 4.3… also do these small quicktime movs show square pixels or not? and how can I get small film made how I designed them (Ican never get renders in affter effects down in size yet looking good to send off

in other words, what the best way to export small but good looking quicktimes using pre-sets? or is there some other software i should be getting (it used to be cleaner 5)?

…this is THE most frustrating trial and error bussiness!!!

I rarely use QuickTime Conversion for this reason.

Compressor is designed for use with presets.
