    Hi

Ive imported some quicktime clips into my project but when I drag them onto my time line they appear unrenderd. I rendered them on the timeline however when ever I make the slightest change I need to render them again. I beleive it may be a question of settings? any assistance would be appreciated. Many thanks!

Check the item properties for the clips and the item properties for the sequence. What does it say for each? They need to match in every aspect.

    All the best,

    Tom

thank you for your feed back Tom.

I had a look at the settings in the clip browser…

The sequence frame size is: 720 x 576, compressor is: DV Pal , pixel aspect is: pal ccir601 and field dominance is :Lower

the clip frame size is 640 x 480, the sequence compressor: does not show, pixel aspect is:square and field dominance is: none

I have tried changing the sequence settings to match the clip settings but this does not seem to have worked.

perhaps I need to change the clip settings instead but so far Ive not figured out how to do this.

Is there a better way to do this?

    Many thanks
    Trel
