About a year ago I ran into a bug with Quicktime. I think it was version 7.5. The problem was during the After Effects renders. When my render would make it to about 3/4 through it would stop and I would get an error notice. After researching the problem on the internet I discovered it was a common bug with a lot of people who had upgraded to the new version of Quicktime. Again, this was about a year ago. The common resolution with people was to “downgrade” to the previous Quicktime version which I later did. As of today I’m still on version 7.3 or 7.4.

Anyway, since then I think there’s been a few Quicktime updates. I was just wondering if anyone had heard of this bug…and if so was it resolved. I’ve been holding off on my updates until I know for sure the issue was resolved…which I’m still unsure of.

Just curious if anyone had heard anything about all of this.

    Thanks…

i can’t speak for any issues with cs4, but with cs3, after the quicktime 7.4.1 update (7.4 was the version that had issues) i haven’t seen any problems.
