  Quicktime 7 Pro and OS X Requirements

  I am in the process of figuring out how to go about upgrading my G4 Dual 1.25 GHz system that is running Jaguar 10.2.latest. I have heard lots of horror stories and I have a solid system right now that I edit on Final Cut Pro 4.1. I am interested in using the H264 codec in Quicktime 7 Pro and wanted to know a good upgrade path. My video card cannot handle Motion, as well as a little less RAM that is recommended, so I have not upgraded to Final Cut Studio. All the other products look great though. Thanks for your assistance.
