I am using cinema 4d R11 and I can’t work out how to export my file to a quicktime movie. There is no option for quicktime in the export menu.

I read something about running 64bit version of the program quicktime is not available? How do I change to 32bit version?

    Thanks

The QT and other image/animation format options are in the render settings>save area. Set your render options and then render to the picture viewer.

There is no QuickTime 64bit so you need to render out a sequence of tiff files and compile them after. QuickTime pro has the option to open an image sequence and this can then be saved as a mov. The mov file will be very large because it will be uncompressed.
If you look in the Maxon program directory you may have the 32bit version. The render time will be slower as you won’t be able to address as much memory in the 32bit version. I have 6gig so the difference between render times is quite a lot. The project I’m working on at the moment the render time for a frame increased from 9s to 16s.
    Hope this answers your question
