Not sure if it is really a watermark I want. I want to cover up part of the video and mangle the audio, basically destroying any commercial value but retaining enough so that people can understand the content and get an idea what the real version looks and sounds like? Should I do this in AE, Pr, or Media Encoder? I have about 40 videos that I’d like to do quickly. Suggestions? Zilion ways to do it. Just wondering if there is some really good way?

Relatedly, just in AE, how would you make logo text blurry so that people could get a rough idea only?

    Thanks in advance.

When I send a proof to a client, I usually send them a small resolution (960×540) mp4 with a low bit rate (around 1.5mbps). The proof is such a low quality that it can’t really be used for broadcast or web, but gives the client an idea what the animations will look like.
