Just made a faux french art film and was wondering what was the quickest way to convert my whole video into black and white. I used to use adobe premiere elements and i remember there just being a button to convert into black and white.

Make an adjustment layer that goes on top of everything and then add an effect there that removes the saturation.

If you are using Premiere Pro CC, look in Video Effects for Lumetri Looks. There’s a monochrome category in there, that offers a number of black and white looks to experiment with. Some are faded to look aged, some are sharp and contrasty.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2015.02 (as of 6/2016)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.
