Quick way to get a reference to a layer.
I wonder if there is a quick way, maybe a script or plugin, to get a reference to a layer’s property
likecomp("MAIN COMP").layer("Style Control").effect("OUTLINE")("Color");
in order to copy it to clipboard and paste to another composition’s layer’s expression.I know there is a ‘Pick Whip’ button, but linking properties like color values across many compositions by splitting screen onto two timelines is truly tiresome.
Maybe something like right-clicking on a property and choosing from context menu “Copy reference path”?Have anyone seen something like this?
