    quick transcoding question

    i found that my media looked best when i chose “don’t transcode” under settings, (preventing transcoding twice)

    however i needed to replace three of my video assets with newer versions and now the option for “don’t transcode” isn’t available. is there something i’m not noticing?

    all my videos have been compressed using TMPG, into 2 elementary streams. same settings as before.

    Choose Revert to Original then the settings should become available again. If you don’t reset this way, Encore maintains a reference to the already cached files which are of course incorrect.

    Thanks, yeah when I revert to original then try to choose don’t encode it’s still not available.
