I took some short video clips using a Kodak 5MP camera (not camcorder) quite some time ago. The camera was placed in movie mode and generated quicktime movie format .MOV files. These files play in Windows Media Player. I tried rendering them to the quicktime format via Vegas. The clips would not then play with WMP and the final file size was quite a bit different. A 1:00 original clip is 12.7 MB and is 640×480 size. In Vegas the file shows as MPEG-4 video. What is the proper render settings. Thanks.

Did you use MPEG4 as the format when you rendered with Quicktime? You would need to create your won template for this.
