    Hey guys.

quick question. I have two macbook pros I am trying to do software upgrades to. One is airport internet one is straight cable. I know the internet is working fine (surfed some pages). However when I APPLE>> Software update, it goes into ‘scanning for update’, get about a 1/4 progress bar and just holds there, although it keeps revolving. Both computers have been doing this for about two hours now (I tried earlier today also)

Any ideas? no problems months ago last time I fired these up. Any help. thanks!

    Rick

Many proeple have had this issue. Sometimes a restart helps. It could be some minor network issue or the servers are to busy at that time. You could wait a day and try again or go to apple.com/download/ and get the updates manually.
