Quick render question
Hi,
I just had a quick question about render settings. I am exporting clips out as a quicktime movie with the animation setting, everything best quality with millions of colors + selected yet for some reason the clips get back to FCP 10% darker. Is that supposed to happen and is there any way of making this not happen?Thanks!

are you working with embedded color management? and is your monitor set to 1.8 or 2.2 gamma and the editing programs look the same in terms of brightness? Prores and dvc-hd cause gamma shifts.

If you’re doing a million colors + , then you’re also outputting an alpha chanel. Is it supposed to have an alpha chanel and is the alpha chanel correct? Is the alpha interpreted correctly in FCP? Also, you could have a strange Working Space set in your Project settings.
