Quick Ram question for FCP Studio2
I know that for FCP Studio 1 the suite couldn’t make use of more than 4GB of RAM. Is that still the case with FCP Studio 2? We’re getting a new edit station and I wanted to check with the Cow community before just getting the 4 gigs of Ram. No use wasting good money needlessly. The only other applications running simultaneously coud be Photoshop CS.

I really don’t know if FC6 can manage more RAM than FC5. I read somewhere that can take 3Gb. But even if you stick with FC5 and his 2Gb RAM limit, you better set more than 2Gb RAM. This will allow you o run other applications while FC works.
