    Hi,

I need to give some Clips XDCAM HD 422 (MXF) to a Broadcasting Van.
My Adobe Media Encoder exports my .mxf-Files (Source;.mov PRORES422) always accompanied with those .xmp -Files. Do I need to copy/deliver those guys as well for the MXF to work properly?
    Or what are those for?

    THAANKS!

They are sidecar metadata files Premiere automatically creates for most files it exports. I believe you can turn this off in the Export settings. You do not need them for XDCAM playback and cannot write them to the XDCAM’s /CLIP folder.
