  • Quick question regarding subclips and sequences

Posted by Bluewingoliver on November 29, 2006 at 12:10 am

I’m in the middle of a nightmare project where I need to sync a bunch of clips from dat. I have to sync the sound clips with individual takes in a sequence, but then I’d like to subclip each individual take, but if I subclip a sequence than it justs makes a sequence subclip and I’d like a source subclip so it loads in the source monitor for easy editing. Is there an easy way to do this? Am I making sense? If not, sorry, it’s the middle of the night. 🙂

Any quick help would be much, much apppreciated.

When you subclip each portion of the sequence, it will create a sequence. But as long as each of those sequences are single events, you can highlight all of those sub sequences and select AutoSync. They will become subclips that will now work as source clip showing out of sync offsets, etc.

Thanks, that did the trick. I thought I had to autosync to separate clips.
