quick interface question
Quick question about interface: What does it mean when AE throws a pair of brackets around the name of a comp in the timeline panel? Is it an indication of transparency, parenting, nesting, trackmat or something else? Thanks for your reply.

You can toggle between showing the source name and the layer name. The brackets are an indication that you’re seeing the default layer name, which matches the source name.
