May 27, 2007 at 6:38 pmWhat have you got now? Art for the shell? A movie of the gun? Muzzle flash? What’s the point of view? Behind the shooter? Camera looking down the gun exit?

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

May 28, 2007 at 3:17 pmYes, we need more info. If you want it realistic, it’s probably a job for a real 3D app. If the camera is moving, you probably need matchmoving software.
But if the gun is in profile, and you want a non-realistic look (Casino Royale?), then yes, just draw it in Illustrator.

May 28, 2007 at 9:13 pmYeah non-realistic look like Casino Royale would be just fine. I havent used illustrator much yet but it can’t be that hard to create a shell.
thanks guys

Hey, they're all available within After Effects. How hard can it be?" bogiesan This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
