    Hello friends,

I have about 200 short video clips. To each of these I have to add one title card at the beginning as well as multiple lower thirds to each clip.

Adding the title cards was easy and all done. The problem is that I now have to add the lower thirds (text & graphic over video) that I have already created in photoshop but the time code locations where the lower thirds go were supplied by client referencing the beginning of each video clip and NOT taking into account the duration the title cards (which are different duration depending on how much text the viewer need to read).

So the question is: Does anyone know of an easier/faster way to set the time code of the sequence to 01:00:00:00 at the location where the video clip actually starts? I know I can do this by going into sequence settings but this will be very time consuming because each title card is a different length and my math is kinda slow these days.

    Any other work around?

    Thanks!,
    Xavier

Simply move the playhead to the beginning of the clip via the up down arrows. Then, say the client said the lower third should go at 3:15, just type +315 and the playhead will move to that point.

    It’s not a work around. It’s editing and it’s your job. 🙂

How about using reverse match frame?
