Questions regarding Google Video & YouTube
A client needs some interviews up on both Google Video and YouTube and, while I’ve easiliy figured out the basics of getting the video up and running and looking nice, I have not been able find good info about how one selects the still frames that users click on to slect the videos. Does anyone know the definitive answer?
Also, does anyone know if there’s a way to replace the uploaded version of a video with a slightly modified version without losing viewing stats. and reviews?

there is currently no way to change the still.

I’ve actually seen a “formula” posted which indicates how the frame is chosen but you’d have to change the length to change the frame chosen.
You might want to look at this blog.
It seems YouTube choses the exact middle frame.
