  Questions about PS CS3

  Hi
  I just purchased CS3. I have two questions. First, I keep losing my brushes that I’ve downloaded into Adobe. I don’t have to do anything in particular to lose them, they just disappear back to the regular ones. Its not every time I use it, but this has happened twice now to me.
  Secondly, when I’m in the free transform mode and use the grid to warp shapes, can someone tell me how to turn the grid off so I can see what I’m doing better. I know it can be done, but I can’t figure out how. Thank you in advance.
