Questions About MultiBridge Pro
I’ve been trying to get some specific info about this product on the web and via this forum but have been unable to confirm a couple of my questions.
1. With this product will I be able to Work in DVCpro_HD Sequences in Final Cut Pro and still output via this product.( I understand it works with uncompressed and pro_res but I have a few projects that I still edit in DVCPRO_HD since I’m getting a lot of source material from P2Cards.
2. With this product will I be able to Work in HD and Preview HD out the HDMI connector and also Preview A Downconverted SD via the Analog Component Connectors at the same time. (I’ve seen it noted that the SDI can downconvert but I was wondering if it can downconvert via the Analog Component output as well.)
3. With this product will I be able to use this device with apple color to output to a video monitor while I’m working in color.
I would greatly appreciate any users of the Multibridge that could help me out by answering these questions. Also any general feedback that you may have about the product that could influence my buying decision would be great also.

Hi Tim,
1. Yes. You will be able to work with DVCPRO HD just like you work with ProRes or Uncompressed.
2. No. If you down convert, all outputs will be in SD.
3. Yes. It provides a frame buffer so you can monitor out of Apple Color.
