  • Question using Wiggle Expression on 3D layer

    Posted by Eric Goldstein on February 17, 2009 at 9:51 pm

    Hi,

    I’m using the wiggle expression on a 3D layer. However, I only want it to wiggle the X and Y axis, not the Z. Is there a way of eliminating wiggle on the Z in this case?

    Thanks,

    Eric

    try setting your wiggle as a variable, then using just the x and y components of the wiggle.. so it may look something like this:

    w=wiggle(50,5);
    [w[0],w[1],value[2]]

    it looks more complicated than it is… the last line is just the 3d coordinate breakdown [x,y,z] with x and y coming from the wiggle variable and z coming from the current value.
