  • Question regarding encoding

Okay, I just finished a project in 6.5. I exported it as a movie to Encore 1.0 and had some problems from there. Some of the special FX did not render correctly. So I then used the Adobe Encoder and saved it. Brought it in Encore and made the DVD’s that way.

I’m done with the project but I wanted get some feed back on this. What do you think happened and is there a better encoding process. The video did not produce the greatest quality. There are some pixelation but I think some of it was the camera not handling the low light.

I’m going to get a good 3CCD camera next. But, how can I get the best quality from my footage through encoding? What are some of the settings I should be establishing? I know Encore has several ways of setting up but is it better to encode first or let Encore do it?

    I welcome your comments…
