Question regarding burning a .mov and av.movnumbered files
I have a question regarding something I cam across with Final Cut, I have never worked with Apple computers before nor with Final Cut. But I made a .mov render that suddenly came with several part files.
I’ve never had files with that when using windows and using the same render settings, perhaps someone can explain to me what they are.
Basically in my folder where I rendered I now have a render.mov but also 6 files labeled render-av.mov1 to 6
Now the important question I have comes to burning, I have to burn this render to a dvd and send it as a data disc to someone, however must I include the av.mov1-6 files as well?
Will the render.mov play properly without the av.mov1-6 files?
The problem then is that each part file is 2gb big and so the total then comes to around 13 gb, so it is important that I now this. -

Two things can cause this. One, in system settings you have limit capture/export checked on. Two, you’re rendering to a drive that has not been properly formatted to Mac OS Extended, but is formatted in FAT32, the DOS format, which has a file size limit.

the second option it is then, I’m rendering to my fat32 disc since the school account give you very little discspace to use for rendering files.
But if I want to burn it do I have to include those part files?I managed to ditch the file in a converter and convert it to one file, but I just want to know the above question out of curiousity
