  • Question Regarding 3-Color Button Problem

    Hey,

I’ve been working on a menu for a production I’ve worked on. A picture of the menu can be found here:

I edit my menus in Photoshop, and for this menu I used a rose stamp for the button highlights. However, the rose is comprised of multiple shades of gray.

Does anybody know how I can seperate the different shades of gray in the rose into three layers so that my button highlight will be at least somewhat close to the actual rose?

    Thanks!

this may help u.. (https://asvideoproductions.com/doogs/downloads.htm) look to Tut #10 in the Advanced section, u will have to modify and adapt the tut to your own specs.. Just remember that you can only use 3 seperate colour highlights as a max…hope this helps

I forgot to mention that you will only be able to use 3 solid colour shades of grey for the rose..

Oh, of course. I just wasn’t sure as to how I could make the stamp into three seperate layers, each showing a different shade of gray.
