  • Question on Nattress Blur Dissolve

    Hey there,

I just upgraded to a new G5 2.7, and am in the process of going through and rebuilding a few old projects. I downloaded and re-installed the free Nattress effects package on the new machine, but now my ‘blur dissolve’ looks more like a regular dissolve. Did I do something wrong? It worked beautifully in Panther, but is it not Tiger compatible? I used to use this transition all the time, as it’s so much better a blur-dissolve than some of the other free plug-ins I’ve tried.

(The Gradient Wipe and the Earthquake transition both work fine, by the way. I placed the whole “Free” folder inside the “Plug-Ins” folder in “FCP System Support. That’s where it goes, right?)

Is it just time for me to buck up and pay for the Film Effects package? 😉

Blur dissolve should still be working, but if it’s not, I’ll certainly take a look at it and see. I’m on my holidays at the moment, but I’ll take a look as soon as I get back. Email me next week to remind me.
