Question: Inserting clips at playhead position in timeline
In versions of After Effects prior to 7, when you dragged a new clip into the composition it was added at that point in time where playhead was positioned. In AE 7 & CS3, new clips are always positioned at the beginning of the timeline.
Is it still possible to get After Effects to position new clips in the timeline where the playhead is? -

Yes. It’s in the preferences.
