Question – in 23.98 fps
I’m starting a job with clips captured in 23.98 fps, 1920×1080, Pro Res 422 HQ, and need export this to make a blu-ray. What’s better: edit and export in a 29.97 fps timeline, or in a 23.98 fps? The settings will be the same in both options: Pro Res 422, 1920 x 1080, square pixels, audio 48/16. Thanks!

BluRay does 23.98. All those Hollywood movies are that rate. No need to edit 29.97. In fact, trying to do so will be bad bad bad. FCP doesn’t mix frame rates well. Very poorly.
