Question for those of you with Kona3G on Mac
how are you monitoring audio with your non editing apps?
like playing youtube in a browser?
The way the kona has to be setup, I’m getting
that sound through the mac speaker.any way to re route that without affecting kona setup
as it needs to be for premiere cc? -

With Premiere Pro CC you should now be able to monitor all audio through your 3G via the System Prefs > Sound > Output on the Mac.

Thanks Walter, is that how yours is setup?
Keith at AJA was helping me resolve some audio issues
and indicated the mac preferences audio out had to be
set to Internal speakers, Built-In.Kona plays out to my console and not the speakers,
but something like youtube or quicktime does play to
the speakers. -
I set the output to Kona3G, PCI in mac audio preferences.
works!
no affect on premiere. (good)
