  • Question about what type of file to render?

I’ve got HD material… 1920x1080i. 25fps. I’d like to view it on one of those Western Digital HD players…. but can’t seem to figure out what file type to use. Of those ones Vegas is capable of rendering…which would work? I have SVP9e.
    thanks for any advice…

Sony AVC works really well in the WD HD TV players. That would leave you with MP4 files. Use one of the Internet templates as a starting point.

….indeed…i used one of the internet templates….went in and bumped up the bitrate….ended up with about 385mb for a 5minute video. WD unit read it with ease…and played it beautifully!
    thanks..
