  • Question about viewing audio waveform.

Posted by Ryan Elder on September 19, 2018 at 2:16 am

In Premiere Pro, I would like to view the audio waveforms of a track. But I can only figure out how to do this with audio tracks, with no video.

I would like to be able to do with with audio tracks that are already attached to a video. Is this possible? Every tutorial I find talks about how do with it with audio only tracks, and cannot find if it’s possible with video attached. Is it?

Open wrench in the timeline and check Show Audio Waveform.

Okay thanks, but there is no wrench on the timeline. I am using Premiere Pro CS5.5, so maybe there is no wrench in that version?

Might have said upfront you were using cs5.5
When posting a question one assumes the latest version.
If I remember correctly there is an option for this in the track header.
